    In the world of resins, we have a large portfolio of products needed in their manufacture.

    A composite is the result of the union or intimate assembly of two non-miscible bodies in order to combine and strengthen their intrinsic properties or the properties they may present separately.

    We are talking about an organic matrix (thermo stable or thermoplastic), mineral, metal, ceramic, etc. and a strengthening in the form of granules, filament, woven fibre or structure, which may be glass, carbon/graphite, aramid, basalt, metal, ceramic or of another nature.

    One example of these compound materials can be found in the tree shaped nature, a structure of great height capable of standing its own weight, subject to the strength of the wind and other environmental factors and constituted by fibres which make it capable of withstanding the effort, and resins to configure its structure.

    Resin and fibre-based industrial composites are light and very strong, and this makes them suitable for an infinite number of applications in different fields such as the automotive, construction and civil engineering, railway, nautical, airspace, electrical, sports, sanitary, agricultural, military, etc. and they may be made by different processes such as simultaneous projection, rolling, centrifuging, straining, pultrulsion, injection (RTM, RIM, vacuum infusion, etc.), pressing (cold or hot, pre-pregs), etc.
